Health Plans
The District is pleased to provide several Kaiser Permanente health plan options, dental plan coverage from Delta Dental and Vision plan coverage from VSP. Employees (working 30%) are eligible for these benefits.
ALL employees must have health coverage. The Federal Affordable Care Act which mandates health coverage for all individuals. Due to these regulations, the District is required to ensure that every employee has medical insurance. Employees who do not take medical benefits through PUSD because they already receive coverage through another source will be asked to show proof of this coverage. Employee is then eligible for up to $2,800 cash-in-lieu for all employees prorated to the FTE.
All employees working 30% or more are required to enroll in the Delta Dental plan.
