Human Resources

Mission

The mission of the Piedmont Unified School District Human Resources Department is to recruit, attract and retain highly qualified certificated and classified employees who serve as the most important resource for providing a quality educational program for our students. We value diverse thinkers who possess various experiences and viewpoints. We believe that a diverse workforce benefits all students, and our goal is to find the best staff who can uphold our values of excellence and equity for every student. Our goal is to ensure that all students graduate from high school ready for college and career, and are equipped with skills to thrive in an increasingly diverse 21st century society. We prioritize assembling a staff that reflects our student diversity. We strongly encourage members of underrepresented groups and people of diverse backgrounds to apply.

The Human Resources Department is available to assist individuals seeking employment (and current employees) with any matters related to the employment process or their current employment status.

The Piedmont Unified School District is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, gender, ethnic group identification, race, ancestry, national origin, religion, color, disability or age, nor on the basis of a person’s association with individuals or groups with one or more of these characteristics in any district program or activity.
