Advanced Acting Class Fall Play 2024

Piedmont High School’s Advanced Acting class is thrilled to present The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, written by Simon Stephens, based on the best-selling novel by Mark Haddon.

Winner of five Tony Awards, Curious Incident is a riveting play that follows Christopher Boone, (played by MHS Junior, Collin Cameron) a neurodivergent 15-year-old boy who embarks on an expedition after discovering a dead dog. Christopher loves math and science but struggles with everyday interactions and understanding people. The play transports viewers inside Christopher’s vivid inner world as he tries to uncover the mystery of Wellington’s death, and along the way, he uncovers the mysteries within his own family.

The cast includes Sacha Andrews, Ali Atanasio, Collin Cameron, Caleb Canada, Jake Hanke, Dinar Kidane, Isabelle Myers, Ben Sachs, Friedie Schickedanz, and Danielle Zaroukian.

Scenic Projection design is by Noah Bruggeman, Jerry Yu, and Clea Villaluz, with help from Nasreen Schulze.  Lighting Design by Sophie Hess.  Sound Design by Chaz Amit-Guite and Theo Ferguson.
