Congratulations to Ms. Martinez's 4th-grade class at Beach Elementary that placed second in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area's poster contest. The students worked very hard in art class and in their classroom to find elements that were important to the future of the park system, and incorporated them into a beautiful poster.

All winning submissions will be displayed in-person at the Presidio Visitor Center in San Francisco. Winners will also be announced on the park website and social media platforms: Education - Golden Gate National Recreation Area (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov) In addition, all students in the class will receive a copy of Redwoods by Jason Chin.
