Witter Track Resurfacing Work is on Schedule

• Bothman has finished preparing the track subgrade and is ready for paving on Monday, June 17th through June 19th. 
• Barring any unanticipated delays, the final completion and reopening of the Witter track and football field remains  scheduled for Friday, August 9th. 
• The first day of class is Monday, August 12th. 

Witter Complex - Track and Football Field Remain Closed

• Grass hardball and softball to remain open to limited reserved events - PHS Athletic practices and community group use. Grass Fields will not be open to the public.
• All gates leading to the track and football field will remain locked. Access to the Witter Field House and dog park  through the Witter Parking lot will remain open. 

Winsor Driveway Gate Closure

• For your safety, the pedestrian access gate on the Winsor Avenue driveway, which many residents use to access the  Piedmont Park off-leash dog area, will be locked during construction hours: Monday-Friday from 7am to 4pm.  We will keep the gate open for pedestrian access to the off-leash dog area outside of construction hours and on  weekends. 

Parking Updates

Palm, Park View, Winsor -  

• Parking restrictions on Palm, Park View and Winsor remain and should be lifted at the end of the track paving next week on Wednesday, June 19th. No parking will be effective from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.  
• We are hoping only a minimal number of parking restricted days will be needed after the paving date of June 19th.

El Cerrito - 

• Parking restrictions will remain lifted. The contractor will not be using the upper Witter parking lot and it will remain open during regular Witter Complex hours.

As a reminder, parking restrictions have been needed to assure emergency vehicle egress during construction hours. This is per the City of Piedmont Fire Department request
