About the PUSD Website

The Piedmont Unified School District website was redesigned and restructured during the 2007-2008 school year, in accordance with the District’s Technology Plan.

Input was sought during the site’s planning from the District Technology Committee, technology coordinators of all PUSD school sites, PUSD administrators, Board of Education members, and members of the Piedmont community. The site was designed with the goal of making access to information about the District as easy as possible for parents, students, and community members, and to keep the Piedmont community informed of current PUSD events and initiatives. Use of a standardized content management system and integrated tools like Google Maps and Calendar make the PUSD website a foundation upon which all schools in the District can build and customize for their individual needs.

The PUSD website was designed and developed by David Mihm, who works in web design in Portland, Oregon and Oakland, California.

The District is currently implementing a Website Modernization Plan. More details to follow.
