PMS Food Service

Piedmont Middle School offers a comprehensive food service program that includes nutritious offerings at both brunch and lunch. All PMS food offerings meet US federal K-12 public school food service requirements and are SB12 compliant.

Brunch runs from 10:40-10:50am daily. PMS brunch offerings range from fruit and yogurt to cinnamon rolls and bagels as well as a variety of beverages.

Lunch is offered daily in two shifts. Your child’s lunch shift is assigned based on their grade and course schedule. Lunch A runs from 11:45-12:20 and Lunch B runs from 12:40-1:15. The PMS Lunch program provides a combination of both catered meals that students order in advance via the web and ready-to-go items that students can purchase daily at the food service counter.  For 2010-11, PMS is pleased to offer the Children’s Choice entrée program (www.choicelunch.com) on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Through Children’s Choice, students can order and pay for meals online, choosing from both hot and cold entrees.  Additionally, our on-site food service manager, Dianne Clark, provides ready for purchase items including soups, fruit, yogurt, protein bars, water and other drinks and snacks.  On Thursdays, catered Chinese food is available for purchase; and on Fridays, cheese, vegetarian, and pepperoni pizza are available for purchase.

Register for Children’s Choice. Be sure to sign up your child now online with Children’s Choice. Simply go to www.choicelunch.com and use the password:  pms to register.

By registering now, your child will always have the opportunity to get a hot lunch even if you are not a regular user of this program.  No on-site entrees will be offered on the days that Children’s Choice is available.

Children’s Choice is available at PMS on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  There are a limited number of “IOU” lunches available for your registered child should he/she forget to bring or order a lunch.  Your account will be charged $1.45 plus the regular cost of the lunch for use of the IOU program.  The price of Children’s Choice lunch is $6.00.
