Testing Schedule for April 17, 18, 24, 25

Next week the junior class will be participating in the Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments, which are part of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) system and the senior class will be participating in the California Science Test (CAST). 

For juniors, the testing will take place on Tuesday, April 17th and Wednesday, April 18th, and then again the following Tuesday and Wednesday, April 24th and 25th.

Room assignments will be posted in the breezeway before testing. All students will be with their English class cohorts. 

The CAASPP assessments include computer adaptive tests in English-Language Arts/Literacy (ELA) and Mathematics for students in 3rd grade through 8th grade, and students in 11th grade. The CAST is being field tested and will only be administered to 12th grade students. 

All 9th and 10th graders WILL NOT have any state testing this year!

All 9th graders will report to school at 9:00am April 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th.

All 10th grade students will report to school at 8:30 am on April 17th and 18th and at 9am on April 24th and 25th.

Attendance during testing is MANDATORY! Students in 9th grade will attend study halls and watch a film on the 24th in the theater.

Students in 10th grade will watch a film in the theater on April 17th and 18th, attend study halls on April 24th and 25th, and also receive their Naviance log-in information on the 25th.
