We concluded our 2 day Student Assembly last Thursday (2/2/12). We had great participation from students. They offered lots of insight and support for each other around issues of harassment, how to respond assertively, how to help each other, how to build a positive peer culture, how to differentiate flirting and harassing, and how to report harassment.
MHS staff will continue to address these topics throughout the year. We thank the MHS Parents Club for sponsoring these assemblies. We also thank all the parents in our community for sending your wonderful and unique children to our school. They are what makes our jobs meaningful.
