The
Kindergarten Program is very exciting and offers the children a solid
foundation from which to learn. Kindergarten teachers use a
developmental approach to teach early reading and writing skills,
hands-on math, science, social studies, art, social skills, and much
more. Children bring snacks from home; there is time for free play
indoors and outside. The children have music and library class once a
week, physical education twice a week, and occupational therapy if
needed. There is a reading buddy program and field trips. Parents are
encouraged to help in the classroom.
