English Learners (EL)

The Piedmont Unified School District is committed to educating our English Learners in order for them to become proficient in English as rapidly as possible so they can have success in the academic programs available to all students.

English Learner Master Plan

Adopted by the Board of Education on August 25, 2010, the PUSD EL Master Plan outlines the role of the district, school sites, and community in supporting EL Students.  It also communicates the identification and assessment procedures, educational placements, reclassification procedures, and evaluation procedures.
