School Board Seeking Community Input on Refinancing of Outstanding Capital Appreciation Bonds

Monday, October 23rd, 2017

Piedmont Unified is considering options to refinance outstanding Capital Appreciation Bonds (CABs), issued during the Seismic Safety Bond Program, in order to save taxpayer money. The District’s Board of Education will discuss these options on October 25 and November 8, and will likely make a decision by December 12th.

District Technology Advisory Committee meets October 19th

District Presents Designs for New High School STEAM Building and New Alan Harvey Theater

Less than one year ago, on November 8, 2016, the Piedmont community approved Measure H1, authorizing $66 million in bonds to modernize school facilities. Since then, the District has been working with HKIT Architects to develop concept designs for a new STEAM building and new Alan Harvey Theater.
